Terms and conditions

 General terms

This site (generically called site or website) is part of Mediafax websites. By accessing this site or any part of it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This agreement between you and Mediafax SA is legally binding. Acceptance is considered tacit and unreserved.

Mediafax can change the content of the site at any given time, can modify its structure, content and accessibility, can cease providing information via the site, without any prior agreement or notice to users or third parties.

By proceeding to use the site, you agree to be legally bound to the terms and conditions herein. Using the site implies acceptance of Mediafax rules.

Mediafax reserves the right to change, suspend or interrupt the site at any given time, without prior notice. Mediafax can limit access to the site or to parts of the site. Mediafax can limit access to certain facilities/frames on the site, can limit the access of certain IPs without prior notification and reprieved from all liability.  

User obligations on registration/subscription

Access to full online content of Mediafax is restricted and conditioned by the subscription process. To have access to the full content, the user must have a subscription to the products the user wishes to view.

Within the subscription processes, the user shall be required to provide contact information. The registration/subscription form(s) shall contain detailed information of the user (full name, name of the company, mobile phone number, e-mail address), to be used by Mediafax sales representatives in identifying and directly contacting the user and in speeding up the subscription process.

To use the services provided by Mediafax, you agree: 

1. to provide real, accurate and complete information about yourself as required in the registration form(s)

2. to maintain and renew, when applicable, your personal information so that it is real, accurate and complete. If you provide information that is untrue, inaccurate or incomplete, Mediafax SA reserves the right to suspend or delete your account and refuse any current or future attempts to use the site.

3. if you are using an e-mail address that is not rightfully yours, your registration/subscription request shall be deleted and, in the event of any damages caused to other users, to the Mediafax SA team or to the site, your identification data will be disclosed to the Police and official investigators. 

Collection and use of information

Mediafax is the sole holder of the information collected via this site. It shall not sell, share or lease the information to third parties in other manners except as stated in the present disclaimer.  

Announcing changes

If user identification information changes or if the user wishes to discard the services of Mediafax Business Center, the personal information provided by the user shall be corrected, updated or deleted, accordingly. This can be done via the feedback form available after login.

If Mediafax decides to change its policy, all changes will be posted on the site‘s homepage to keep users permanently informed as to the information it collects, how the information is used and under what circumstances it is made public. If Mediafax decides to use personal information in manners or purposes different than those announced on registration, users shall be asked for consent via e-mail. Users shall have the option to agree or not to the use of their information in other purposes. Mediafax shall use the information in compliance with the privacy policy under which it was collected. 

Unsubscribe

Users have the option to unsubscribe when they no longer wish to receive one of the Mediafax newsletters, by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the e-mail. Unsubscribing from Mediafax products is performed online, by sending an unsubscribe request in the feedback form, available on the site after login.

Security

Mediafax Business Center takes all precautions to insure that user account information is kept private. On collection of personal information on our website, your information shall be protected both offline and online. Subscription forms for newsletters and/or Mediafax products require disclosure of personal data (such as mobile phone number), which shall be protected. All user information is confidential. We grant access to user information only to those employees (such as sales representatives, payment service or customer service personnel) whose job functions require access the user identification data. Servers used to store personal information of users are placed in secure locations.

Limitation of liability. Disclaimer of warranty

The content of this website, including news stories, stock quotes, data and other information, is provided by Mediafax and its content providers. This website offers information to businesspersons, but gives no advice nor does it make recommendations regarding certain financial instruments, investments or products.  

Mediafax does not require personal information from clients via unsolicited correspondence. Any correspondence offering financial advice or any unsolicited message requiring disclosure of your personal information is a fake and shall be reported to Mediafax via the feedback form available on the site after login.

Mediafax and its content providers shall have no liability for errors, omissions, interruption or delays in the transmission of the content provided by Mediafax or for any action based on the information provided. Mediafax declines all liability and makes no warranty, either expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of content provided by third parties and to its fitness for a particular purpose. Business

Although Mediafax spares no effort to obtain reliable information from its third party suppliers, Mediafax does not warranty the accuracy of such information.

Each Mediafax user agrees, at the request of Mediafax SA, to reprieve www.mediafax.biz and Mediafax SA from any liability for all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of the user’s breach of provisions of the present Terms.

Individuals or legal entities responsible for breaching provisions of the present Terms are to be held liable under applicable Romanian laws.

All rights reserved. Users may download and print content from this website only for personal use and not for direct or indirect commercial purposes.

All published content (including, but not limited to, articles, information, photographs, data – generically called content) are protected by legal provisions of applicable laws: Law no. 8/1996, with subsequent amendments – pertaining to copyright and related rights, Law no. 84/1998 – pertaining to trademarks and geographical indications - and Law no. 129/1992, republished – pertaining to drawings and industrial models. Lack of mention of certain laws or provisions does not entail their inapplicability. 

The site and its content are copyrighted under the Romanian copyright laws and provisions also applicable outside Romania. The user may not copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute, publish, display, modify, create parts of or complete derivative products or services, or in any way exploit any of the content of the Mediafax Business Center website, except for the displaying the content on the user’s personal computer, the printing and downloading, for personal non-commercial use, of certain documents or information explicitly allowed, provided no changes in or deletion of author attribution, trademark legend or copyright notice occur.

Mediafax is not liable for any damages, litigations arising in connection with the copying, storing, modifying or transferring of the content, in whole or in part, onto any media.
